Sales And Onboarding Specialist
Overview:
Instant Teams is hiring a team of Guides to join our sales team. Being a member of the sales and onboarding team, you will be the frontline expert helping leads learn the benefits of a suite of products. You will educate new leads on how to navigate our platform, achieve their business goals, and derive maximum value from our expense management and travel solutions. You will blend product knowledge, problem-solving skills, and a drive to close new business to ensure an exceptional user experience across all touchpoints. You will own the sales and onboarding experience for new leads, supporting the deployment of the product across businesses, and ensuring the company is set up for success. Salary: $57,000/annually + uncapped commission (paid monthly)
Training Schedule:
- 5 weeks in your assigned shift time
- Encouraged to expense lunch up to $20/day during training
Post-Training Schedule:
- Availability between the hours of 2am - 4pm EST
- 3 positions open
- 4am - 12pm EST (2)
- 2pm - 10pm EST (1)
- 12-hour availability, true flexibility in the salary life, 8 hours of consecutive calls
Day in the Life:
- Manage account configurations for prospective customers, ensuring customers roll out product features correctly.
- Own a book of business of new leads, being the main point of contact for leads through the sales and onboarding process
- Serves as a subject matter expert on all products and delivers confident instructions that educate and enable new users, illustrating the benefits of certain features, effectively communicating value to customers, and instilling confidence and belief in their account configuration.
- Handle communications with assigned sales leads through email and scheduled calls (Zoom).
- Bring your own personality to develop rapport and meaningful relationships with businesses, building connections and gaining trust.
- Collect product feedback from businesses and share it with the relevant teams
- Be proactive in self-education when product updates are released.
- Manage the customer's business challenges and present clear, ROI-driven strategies
- Help customers set up and manage integrations with accounting systems like NetSuite, QuickBooks, or Xero.
- Take responsibility, initiative, and coordinate internally to ensure support is always covered.
- Understand the product, its value, and keep up to date with evolving features/company changes
- Conduct training sessions and Q&As with admins and decision makers
- Help set the standard for best practices by selling new products and features successfully, providing the foundation for team-wide scaling.
- 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in SaaS or tech sales (3+ preferred)
- Skilled communicator in both written and verbal formats with the ability to simplify complex sales or product details for customers and teammates
- Comfort with using tools such as CRMs (Hubspot), Zoom, Gong, and other digital platforms
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to identify answers quickly and thrive under pressure.

- Team player mentality with a passion for helping businesses grow
- Have the inclination to be hands-on in all aspects of the role.
- Strong technical aptitude in software
Preferred:
- 2+ years of experience in a sales onboarding role in SaaS or FinTech solutions
- Prior exposure to Expensify as a platform (user or advocate)
- Familiarity with commission-based structures or working in high-performance sales teams
- Surface knowledge of accounting practices
